College Development Cell

The College has constituted the ‘College Development Committee’ (CDC) under the Maharashtra Universities Act, 2016. The financial, administrative, educational, sports, cultural, students welfare, hostels and Gymkhana management and other institutional affairs are administered and regulated through the CDC. The meetings of the CDC are held in every quarter of the year. The CDC coordinates with the IQAC.

Internal Complaint Committee

The institution has formed an Internal Complaint Committee which is constituted under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (‘Act’) and the University Grant Commission (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employee and Students in Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2015 (‘Regulations’). Our institution has also adopted zero tolerance policy towards any gender bias and sexual harassment of any kind.

The ICC conducts its surveillance in the Institution on the issues within its jurisdiction. The meeting of the ICC is held on 10th of every month. The ICC coordinates its activities with the College Women Development Cell (CWDC), which is constituted under the Directives of the University of Mumbai.

The ICC regularly conducts seminars and awareness programs, workshops and seminars on Sexual Harassment and accepts complaints on the issue. All the students are briefed about the constitution of the ICC and its members are introduced to the students at the begging of each academic year and at the begging of the second semester. The admission kit provided to the students’ contents all the information about the Act and the Regulation as well as the contact details of all the members. All students are compulsorily required to attend all the events of ICC and CWDC throughout the academic year. The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and Rules,Regulations governing the issue are available in physical form at the common rooms, administrative building, library, reading room, gymkhana building, hostels and laboratories.

The basic object of the Right to Information Act is to empower the citizens, promote transparency and accountability in the working of the Government, contain corruption, and make our democracy work for the people in the real sense. It goes without saying that an informed citizen is better equipped to keep necessary vigil on the instruments of governance and make the government more accountable to the governed. The Act is a big step towards making the citizens informed about the activities of the Government. Devgad College has implemented the provisions of the Act in its true spirit and sense. Examination Committe


Main job of the examination committee is to conduct internal and external examinations as per the university notifications. This committee is the backbone of the institute as it runs all the examinations, maintain the records related to the exams, assist students to fill up the exam forms, display the exam time table, publish results, award certificates and mark sheets to the students provided by the university and the college. Student Grievance Redressal Cell

The Online Student's Grievance Redressal System is a new initiative taken by the Institution that facilitates students / complainants to lodge his or her grievance(s). The basic aim of the portal is to ensure transparency in admissions, prevent unfair practices in higher educational institutions and provide a mechanism for redressal of their grievances. The system also facilitates the institution to search and browse grievances lodged and tacke action against the complaints on the portal as well as contact the complainant directly through e-mail.
