From the viewpoint of being a center for learning, we acknowledge the fact that the inception of self-discovery and the process of uncovering the ‘ME’ in a personality begins during a persons’ student life. As a symbol of a progressive educational establishment, Devgad College has introduced a special initiative for the young girl students of the college. We believe that hand holding a woman to achieve her dream can assert a positive influence on the lives of many others who aspire to be the change they want to see in the society. And hence, URMI, ‘a wave’ that is determined to change the social currents by the ripples it will create. URMI aims to provide seed funding, mentoring and recruitment support to deserving applicants for their start-up.
